Maddi Monacelli - Vocals - Holistic vocal coach Maddy Monacelli has 10+ years experience teaching and sharing the joy of singing, dancing, ukulele and guitar with children and adults alike. In the studio, Maddy helped her mum, Julia Williamson create, arrange and sing harmonies for the 'Sing to Thrive' songs. In addition, Maddy facilities weekly adult and kids singing groups and is a vocal teacher at Byron Music School. She became a qualified Past Age Clearing and Healing Practitioner in early 2022 to help people free their voices and unleash their innate potential.
Whether you want to sing just for the fun of it, or develop your singing and performance skills you need to clear limiting beliefs that block your voice from flowing freely. When you heal sabotage patterns and learn key techniques to access your power voice, you become a confident singer as well as a better communicator and public speaker. |
Steve McLeod - Guitar - relocated to the North Coast 10 years ago to complete a music degree at SCU Lismore. Steve Sax - Bari Sax - played trumpet as a teenager in the local town band & orchestra. His musical career was put on hold, because of business commitments. Playing baritone with SOUL'D has fulfilled his lifelong desire to play in a Big Band recreating all the music of his youth, bands such as Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago and Tower of Power. Steve, Laurie and Andy Hills met in 2005, when playing in the Lismore Conservatorium band and have remained firm friends ever since and united in their quest to recreate the music of a bye gone time and the sound of brass section.

Joshua Booyens - Trombone - specialises in lower brass from Tenor Bone down to Tuba. Some of our fans find Trombone sexy in the same way finding your parents making love is sexy, what do you think? Josh comes from a classical background, having performed regularly at the Sydney Opera House but it was the love of a good time and a chance to show those moves that lead Josh to join the Daddies – he sure knows how to swing in that big band style and with his classical good looks he was born to wear the pinstripe suit - The Daddies are a natural fit for Josh's sense of fun and playfulness and he sure knows how to play that horn!
